Corporate Communications Design Intern
Internal Communications & Employee Engagement
New York City, NY
NBCUniversal is a media and entertainment company headquartered in 30 Rockefeller Plaza in NYC. Internal Communications & Employee Engagement is a team within the Corporate Communications function that supports all divisions of the NBCUniversal portfolio including production, Cable, E!, Oxygen and broadcast.
As the Corporate Communications Design Intern, I created and designed internal marketing campaigns shared across internal NBCUniversal platforms including the weekly employee newsletter, Tophat, on 250+ digital screens internationally, as well as on the internal employee website. I focused on health and wellness, and with my department, proposed, branded, and launched NBCUzen, a company-wide health & wellness initiative. As the only intern within the Corporate Communications team, I also worked with production and NBCU’s creative agency. I served as a liaison to the project manager within the Creative Agency.
Below are some examples of projects I worked on during my time at NBCUniversal!
NBCUzen is an NBCU Health & Wellness Program that we planned for launch. I audited the existing health and wellness offerings across our locations, from London to Florida and California. We launched NBCUzen, an international program that provided weekly programming to promote employee wellbeing. I created a branding system, digital screens and collateral for the launch.
Fall Comedy Lineup & Summer Olympics
During my time on the Corporate Communications team, I was able to assist the Corporate Production team on various large scale sets. Some highlights include meeting Stephanie Beatriz (Rosa Diaz on Brooklyn 99) and Ashima Shiraishi (an American climber).
