168 Hours observes grind culture, burnout, and the need to maximize on the 168 hour week. It analyzes the relationship between “adulting”, schedules and the to-do list. The Elite Daily says, “The Modern Millennial for the most part, views adulthood as a series of actions, as opposed to a state of being. Adulting, therefore, becomes a verb. ‘To adult’ is to complete your to-do list—but everything goes on the list, and the list never ends.” 168 Hours asks the question, “Why are we pretending to love the grind?”
